BOOKEEEZ Professional Standards
Every professional acknowledges these standards during setup, before their profile can go live. They apply on top of — never instead of — the licences, health rules and regulations that apply where the professional works.
1. Hygiene & sanitation
Hands washed and tools cleaned between every client. Single-use items are discarded after one use, and reusable tools are disinfected or sterilised according to the rules for your trade.
2. Clean workspace & linens
Fresh towels, capes, linens and covers per client. Surfaces, chairs and stations are wiped down between appointments, at your location or the client's.
3. Product safety
Only products that are legal to sell and use where you work, kept within their expiry dates and used as the manufacturer intends. No decanting into unlabelled containers.
4. Allergies & patch tests
Ask about allergies and sensitivities before you start. Offer a patch test where the product or manufacturer requires one, and stop immediately if a client reacts.
5. Licences & local rules
You hold any licence, certification, permit or insurance your profession and city require, and you keep them valid.
6. Respect & consent
Professional conduct at all times. No discrimination or harassment. Photos of a client's results are only used publicly with that client's recorded consent.
7. Health & honesty
Do not work while contagious, do not offer treatments outside your training, and be transparent about what a service includes before you quote.
If something goes wrong
Clients can report a safety concern from their completed booking, and the BOOKEEEZ team reviews every report. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to reduced visibility, removal of verification or account closure.
